1
Buy Weiman Granite Wipes. Use these antibacterial wipes like other cleaning wipes you may use around the house. Simply pull out a wipe, wash down your counter and pitch the used wipe in the trash.
-
2
Make your own granite-safe cleaner at home. Mix equal parts water and alcohol in a spray bottle for the same effect. Use it to disinfect, eliminate odors and break up dirt on hard surfaces. Don't use acidic ingredients like vinegar, lemon or lime juice as they can be abrasive to the stone's polish.

Join the eco-friendly revolution. Purchase a green product like Method Granite and Marble cleaner. It's a little pricey, but the sprayer delivers a fine mist that covers a large area and requires less product per spray. The product is also biodegradable and safe for the environment.

Remove dried-on food with a razor blade. Wet the surface, and then gently scrape along the surface to remove any bits that are too hard to remove with regular cleaners.
