Step1
Use the power of thought and your imagination to overcome the feeling of stage fright. Bring to mind the first time you were ever embarrassed or uncomfortable in a public situation. Embrace those feelings of discomfort, then imagine how you would have liked to feel in that situation. Replace the negative feeling with this new positive feeling and use this technique every time you feel stage fright.
Step2
Practice self hypnosis on yourself. Of course, you won't actually be placing yourself in a zone where you don't know what you're doing or saying. Take a minute to breathe deeply several times if you feel stage fright coming on and tell yourself that the stage fright will be gone when you snap your fingers. Snap your fingers and let go of those feelings.
Step3
Be prepared before you need to get up in front of a group. Know what you need to say, what you'll say and how you'll say it.
Step4
Act animated to help you loosen up. That said, don't be cartoonish about your animation. Just look alive and excited to be up front doing what you're doing.
Step5
Make eye contact. Sure, you've probably heard that the best thing to do is not look at anyone, but it makes you look untrustworthy, shifty and incredibly uncomfortable. You'll bore your audience and make them uncomfortable with you. Look at the audience, but make sure you don't end up staring at one or two people.
Step6
Relax and realize that you'll always be more critical of yourself. Most people are not staring at you and trying to find ways to pick you apart and belittle you.
