How to Host a Rave Party

1. Find an area to have this rave. It should be far from any neighbors or people who might get annoyed if it goes on too late. Raves usually go on throughout the night and the early morning hours. 2. Hire a great DJ for your rave party. You will want someone great to pump out the dance tunes all night. Raves usually have a lot of techno, trance and house music so choose wisely for your crowd.

3. Choose music with few lyrics and focus more on the music. Give the DJ some idea of what type of electronic music you prefer and ask to listen to a sample mix.

4. Rent back lights, fog machines, fog lights, strobe lights and anything else you can fit within your budget. Decorate the place with funky colorful lighting things and make sure the strobe lights are working well.

5. Invite people who will dance to a beat. People who are too shy will not get the energy you want going for your rave. Invite the best dancers from your school to your rave. Ask them to dress crazy for your rave.

6. Choose the right refreshments, nothing too heavy and things to give you quick energy. Make sure you have a lot of water handy for your guests.
