1
Match your foundation as close to your natural skin tone as possible, going a shade lighter if you cannot find a perfect match. It is best to have a foundation for every season, as the makeup color you use in winter will not go with your summer tan.
-
2
Use a lip liner that matches the natural shade of your lips and then fill in your lips completely to create a base. You can then use your chosen lipstick on top for a long lasting effect. In this manner, you can get great results with just one color of lip liner.

Pull out your bottom lip and choose a blush color which matches the skin of your inner lip. Blush comes in every color under the sun, but if you want your makeup to look stunning and flawless, it's best to stick with natural colors. If you match your blush to your lips, you can't go wrong.

4
Cool down your daytime look by saving the black eyeliner for nights out on the town. You will get a much better daytime look by using soft plum, khaki, brown or charcoal eyeliner instead.
-
5
Choose cool makeup colors if you have an olive or rosy brown skin tone. Cool colors also work best if you have a strong hair color, such as dark brown, black or blond.
-
6
Select warm makeup colors if you have a fair skin tone and medium tones to your hair, such as golden brown or strawberry blond.
