How to Get Fresh

In new relationships the sparks fly. Everything is fun, from watching TV to action packed dates. However, finding that moment to move the relationship to a physical level can be frustrating and confusing. But if you know how to gauge the situation, you'll know when the time is right to get fresh.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Make sure that it is okay to touch your boyfriend or girlfriend before you try to get fresh. Hold hands, hug or allow some other form of physical contact before you move on to kissing and beyond.
Step2
Plan an intimate and private evening for the two of you if you are planning on getting fresh or landing the first kiss. It is very rare that the first romantic physical moment between you will pass in a crowded restaurant or on a public street. Instead, plan a nature walk for the two of you, a private picnic or some other location where you can be alone.
Step3
Use mints and gum to your advantage, as it is not only essential that you have fresh breath when getting fresh, it is also a cue that you are thinking about getting a bit physical. For example, if you go out for dinner with your partner, pull out a mint or a piece of gum when you are headed home. Offer one to your boyfriend or girlfriend as well. If your offer is declined, it may not be the right night, but if it is accepted, while not guaranteed, there is a better chance that both of you have the same thing in mind.
Step4
Choose just the right moment for a first kiss and expect nothing more than just the first kiss. For example, a kiss at the door when saying goodbye is classic and something your boyfriend or girlfriend will be ready for. Once you break the ice with the first kiss, you will find that getting fresh on the next date will be that much easier.
Step5
Keep the physical action gentle at first, with soft, romantic kisses and respectful touching. If you attempt to get fresh too quickly, you can quickly run your boyfriend or girlfriend away.
Step6
Listen for physical and verbal cues that it is time to move from a kiss to something more; however, prepare to back off if you are asked to. A smile at the right moment, a certain touch or a romantic moan may mean you are free to get fresh, but remember, there are two playing this game. If your partner says, "No," do not push for more.
