MySpace is a large social networking website that allows people of all ages to voice their opinions and make new friends. Some schools and organizations, though, have blocked the use of this website with filters. The filter stops everyone using one of their computers from going to certain websites they specify. One easy way to bypass all filters like those used for MySpace is to visit a specific website.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open your Internet browser and type in the address for Hide Pal. Hide Pal is a website that lets you bypass the filters on your system by changing the proxy server.

  2. Step 2

Enter the website you want to visit in the box at the bottom of the page and press "Enter."

  3. Step 3

Choose your specific options from the top of the screen to change how you want to view the page. Removing images, scripts or turning off Flash will help your visit go undetected from anyone monitoring your Internet usage.

  4. Step 4

Visit Browse 007 if the Hide Pal website doesn't work with the system at your school or office. This website contains a number of warnings and information for those who use filters about how the site works.

  5. Step 5

Scroll halfway down the page until you see the text box. You can then type in the website you want to visit without the filter catching it.

  6. Step 6

Press "Enter" and the website redirects you to the correct page by letting you bypass the filters at your school or office. This website doesn't let you change the layout of the page like Hide Pal, but it still works.

Tips & Warnings
  • Websites that bypass filters are frequently shut down by communities, schools and other organizations. If you find a website or program that works, install the software as soon as possible because it might not be there when you return.
