When it comes to rubber gloves most of us think of work, such as painting the walls or doing dishes. But, you can actually turn that package of rubber gloves under your kitchen sink into some inexpensive craft projects that the kids, and you, will enjoy.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Cut the fingers off of a pair of gloves, about halfway down the finger. Use an indelible marker to draw a face on each finger, and use them as finger puppet gloves. Glue on some yarn hair, or make felt hats and clothing to give your puppet more personality.

  2. Step 2

Blow up the rubber gloves and draw on a funny face with an indelible marker. The thumb can be the nose, and the other fingers can be hair. Glue on some googly eyes if you like.

  3. Step 3

Make a mummy hand for Halloween. Fill a rubber glove with shredded newspaper, sawdust, sand, or even popcorn. Wrap strips of gauze or cheesecloth around the hand.

  4. Step 4

Be a fashionable kitchen goddess with some fancy, dressed up rubber gloves. Glue some rhinestones and fake diamonds onto your rubber gloves, and decorate them with some permanent, colored markers.

  5. Step 5

Make a rubber glove Thanksgiving turkey center piece. Stuff a rubber glove with tissue paper, and paint the thumb red for the turkey's head. Decorate the turkey's face with a fine tip marker and glue on a few fake feathers and some googly eyes, if desired. Tie the bottom with a piece of yarn or string.
