How to Maintain Coin-Op Pool Tables
If your place of business installs a coin-operated pool table, you'll find that it's a great way to attract customers while also earning money for your location. Since you'll want to keep this investment around for a long time, you should properly maintain a coin-op pool table.

1
Vacuum the pool table nightly. If the pool table has a lot of players on it, you'll find a build up of chalk dust each night. You should use a small hand-held vacuum to pick up the chalk dust under the cloth.
-
2
Use a lint roller to pick up any dirt and debris that may have fallen onto the cloth. Brush the lint roller over the table in both directions.

3
Spray a mist of water over the cloth. You should regularly mist the pool table in order to maintain the color of the cloth.
-
4
Cover the coin-op pool table after closing each night. This protects the table from dust and the cloth won't fade as quickly when covered.
-
5
Clean the coin slot regularly. Use a dry cloth to wipe the coin slot each night. You should not spray a cleaning solution into the coin slot because this may damage the mechanism.
