When stunting at tryouts you must be prepared. Practicing ahead of time is the key. There's no such thing as practicing too much but you can practice too little. Judges would rather see a solid stunt that stays in the air rather than a shaky stunt that's harder to do. Choose the stunts you do best when you perform at tryouts. To help increase your score, here are some steps.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make sure that each group member has mastered the proper stunting techniques and knows all aspects of their role in the stunt. This is an important element for getting a good stunting score. One group member being slightly off can cause the entire stunt to go awry. Even if all the stunters perform well and one does not, the judges will know and the score will reflect it.

  2. Step 2

Perform all movements sharp and clean because that's what the judges are looking for. If you're performing a stunt that calls for your arms to be at your side, be sure you do precisely that. All stunting moves must be flawless. Wobbling, falling down and moving when you shouldn't will lower your scores.

  3. Step 3

Display confidence because the judges are looking for it. A genuine smile and a truly cheerful attitude will help to show that you're confident. It's particularly important for the top girl to smile and display a high amount of energy. After all, she's the star who's up in the air for the judges to see.
