How to Make a Pinball Coffee Table

If you like to play pinball and enjoy a great cup of coffee, you can combine your interests. Learn how to make a pinball coffee table from scratch and create a new conversation piece for a casual living room.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pinball playfield
  • 2 pieces of plywood (1 inch by 8 inches)
  • Nails
  • Molding or rubber stick circles
  • 4 table legs
  • Glass
  1. Step 1

    Remove a pinball playfield from an old machine.

  2. Step 2

    Build the frame by nailing the plywood pieces together in a square frame just big enough for the pinball playing field. Take the pinball playing field and place it into the frame.

  3. Step 3

    Buy some molding and place dabs of it on each corner of the frame. You can also use rubber stick circles to hold the glass in place. You will want to glass to stay in its place once laid on top.

  4. Step 4

    Buy an acrylic piece of glass and make sure you have measured your frame to fit the glass square. Once you have the right fit place the glass on top of your wooden frame . Attach the ready made table legs you bought to the bottom of the frame and and now you have a pinball coffee table.
