Perform this sleight of hand trick and impress your audience by making a coin appear out of nowhere and into your hand. This trick requires a little practice, but if done right, you will have them wondering how you made the coin materialize.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Place a coin behind your index finger and hold it into place with your pinky. Place it toward the tip of your index finger along the straight part between the first and second knuckle.

  2. Step 2

Keep your fingers straight so that no one in the audience can see the coin behind your finger. Practice this in front of a mirror until you have it down.

  3. Step 3

Announce to the audience that you intend to make a coin appear out of thin air.

  4. Step 4

Show the audience your open palms so they can see that there is nothing in either hand.

  5. Step 5

Hold the hand with the coin out to the side. Count to three while waving your hand.

  6. Step 6

Bend your fingers in toward the palm. On the count of "Three," quickly grab the coin with your thumb off of your knuckle and hold it in your fingers. Your coin has appeared out of thin air.
