Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Start with the basics. Visit the original Myachi website's Mooves and Grooves section (see Resources below) to find the list of beginner moves. Focus on those moves that are elements of more tricky maneuvers, such as the cradle, the half pipe and the rainbow. Pay attention to the tips on how to hold the body posture of the trick. If you allow your elbows to stick out or the wrong part of your hand execute the trick you risk loosing that magical Myachi look and flow. Continue to practice and perfect your skills as you move up to the intermediate through master moves.
Step2
Join a forum to learn all you can about the Myachi craze. There are forums on the Myachi website, as well as other independent forums on the Internet (see Resources below). Absorb as many tips as you can from the information gleaned on the forums. Then, when you have a question, you have a ready-made group of experts ready and willing to give you direction.
Step3
Watch videos of Myachi moves. No matter how well-written a step-by-step tutorial of a move is, nothing can compare to watching the technique performed by an expert. Most Myachi sites and forums have sections where small videos are available for download or streaming (see Resources below). Watch the moves of the masters and don't be afraid to copy them. Imitating the moves of a Myachi expert is a great way to get that smooth look to your Myachi jam.
