After working in an office for months or even years, the environment may become drab and boring to look at. It is a great idea to make the office space more personal and enhance the area with photographs, artwork and soothing fountains. If you must ask the boss to redecorate, then approach him in a friendly manner. Redecorate your office and make it an enjoyable place to conduct your work.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Clean the clutter out of your workspace. Take some time to clean out old paperwork, files, boxes and anything else that is taking up space in the office. If you need to file things away, take a few hours to get organized.
Step2
Buy some funky organizers and containers. Once you choose a color scheme or theme, it will be much easier to choose some extra storage boxes or containers. Wicker baskets and canvas baskets are very much in style.
Step3
Paint the walls of your office with a color that fits your personality. Relaxing colors in neutral tones are always a good choice.
Step4
Purchase a water fountain that will incorporate calming moods and relaxing feelings in your office workspace. Calming bamboo tabletop fountains can create a meditative mood.
Step5
Put up some photographs of your favorite people or landscapes. Beautiful artwork can also enhance your workspace.
Step6
Accent your workspace with some pillows, area rugs or window treatments that are just your style and that will help you and those around you enjoy coming to your office each day.
