1. Search the Web for fan clubs devoted to the artist you're interested in.
2. Contact the celebrity through his or her record company, studio or publisher if your Web search is unsuccessful. Write a letter asking about official fan clubs and how to get in touch with them.
3. Investigate several clubs. Find out about membership fees, services and merchandise.
4. Contact the club officers about how to join the club that provides what you're looking for at a reasonable membership fee.

Tips & Warnings

• Many fan clubs center around mailing lists, so joining one may result in your name and address being sold to other companies. To avoid this, request that the club not give out your address or other personal information when you join.
