How to Register With eHow

"My eHow" is your own personal eHow Web page where you can save all your favorite elements of eHow. Make sure to review our Terms of Use before setting up your eHow page.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

• Modems
• Internet Access
• Computers

1. Click on the "My eHow" text link on the bottom of the eHow home page.
2. Click on the "I'm a new user" link under the "Do It" button in the center of the page.
3. Enter your e-mail address and choose a password.
4. Click on the box below the e-mail field if you're planning on contributing to eHow and would like other eHow users to be able to see your e-mail address.
5. Click on the boxes next to categories that interest you.
6. Type a few sentences about yourself into the "Quick Bio" field, if you wish. (If you contribute to eHow, eHow users will be able to read this bio to learn more about you.)
7. Enter information in the optional profile fields that you would like to share with us.
8. Indicate your interest in receiving updates from eHow via e-mail at the bottom of the form.
9. Click on Save Update once you've completed the form and corrected any errors. Note that by clicking on Save Update, you're agreeing to the eHow Terms and Conditions of Use.
10. You're now at your personal eHow page.

Tips & Warnings

• You can save your favorite eHows on your page by clicking on the Add to My Favorites link near the bottom of each eHow. (This is under the heading Printable Copy & More.)
• You can arrange to have eHow e-mail you reminders to do certain activities by using the Remind Me feature on every eHow. Your home page keeps a list of all your reminders - your own to-do list.
• To add a product to your eHow shopping list, select the product from an eHow or from eHow's Shop section and click on Add to Shopping List.
