How to Search for an eHow

Use eHow to quickly find out how to do just about anything.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

By Keyword

Step1
Type what you want to do into the search field at the top of eHow's home page (for example, "Tie a Windsor Knot"), then click "Do It."
Step2
Select the eHow your search discovers or the one that most closely matches what you're looking for.
Step3
Enter your e-mail address in the appropriate area so we can let you know when we write an eHow about your topic, if the search yields no results.

By Category

Step1
Select from the list of eHow centers on the eHow home page. These links will take you to center pages with tons of eHows on various topics.
Step2
Browse through featured topics, or click on links to subcategories in the left-hand column.
Step3
Click on the title of the eHow that interests you.

By Author

Step1
Scroll down to the bottom of the eHow home page.
Step2
Click on the About Us link.
Step3
Click on the Authors link.
Step4
Click on the name of a particular author. An alphabetical list of the author's eHows will appear.
Step5
Click on the title of the eHow you'd like to read.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your initial search doesn't find any eHows, try browsing the category that best fits your request.

on 11/22/2005 To get better results on your eHow search, try using different keywords (the words you type in the box). The more complicated the keywords, the harder it is to find the results you want. Try simple words. One or two is all that is necessary. If they do not provide the article you want, try changing the keywords to something similar.
