Things You'll Need:
- Towels
- Towels
- Blush Brush
- Eye Shadow Brushes
- Makeup Brushes
- Shampoos For Normal Hair
- Towels

Step 1
Run the bristles of the makeup brush under warm running water.

Step 2
Apply a small amount of shampoo to bristles and work into a light lather.

Step 3
Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water. You will notice that the water leaving the brush is tinted from old makeup.

Step 4
Continue rinsing until no color leaves the brush.

Step 5
Allow it to air-dry.

on 1/10/2010 I just heard of Klix brushes. Instead of cleaning them, you just "click" on a new fresh brush head. What a great idea!

on 12/19/2009 That's the way I actually clean my brushes. It's very inexpensive and easy to do. You can also dip them into 70% alcohol and rinse them again with clean water and then air dry for a day or two laying it flat on a table or flat surface.

on 11/30/2009 There are some great brushes out there, but I just got the new Advanced Beauty Tool brushes and I love them. They're easy to to clean, they're made of NuFibre and totally animal free!
