on 1/4/2006 Buy dry hydrostatic cloths (Swiffer or Polar dry dusting cloth refills go for $2.00 at Family dollar stores) and wipe the blades. No flying dust and no grime caused by wet dust. I go over my TV, books, wood surfaces then do the fan last in each room. One cloth will do a whole living room--save the dirtiest surfaces for last.
