Visit your local post office at least one week before you are to travel or change your address.
Step3
Request a Change of Address form.

Indicate in the appropriate area that the change of address is permanent, if you are moving. If you will be out of town, fill out the requested information for a temporary change of address.
Step5
Return the form to your local post office.
