your suggestion to add sugar instead of sald to sweeten the taste of grapefruit is poor advise. you do not sweeten the taste of the grapefruit with sugar, you sweeten the taste of grapefruit with salt, and it is healter than suga. Walter Greene (I grow my own grapefruit trees.)

The white membrane on grapefruit and the white pulp on the skin contain loads of fiber. Grapefruit skin-pulp and membrane provide more fiber to the diet that the fruit provides Vitamin C. So, be wise. Eat the whole fruit!

Section grapefruit, removing all white membrane. Place sections on cookie sheet and freeze until solid. Then put sections in a ziploc bag until ready to use. Remove, let thaw and enjoy grapefruit anytime.
