  • Aluminum Foil
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Marking Pens

Instructions

      Be sure baked goods are cooled completely before freezing.

      Wrap breads tightly in plastic wrap, then in a layer of aluminum foil.

      Date all packages.

      Freeze breads for up to five months.

    • 5

      Keep the freezer temperature at 0 degrees F.

    • 6

      Thaw frozen bread at room temperature for 3 hours or in the refrigerator overnight.

Tips & Warnings

  • Cookies and unfrosted cakes also freeze well.

    MythBusters proved that the baking soda trick is in fact a MYTH,it was Arm & Hammer that said to do this to increase their sales, and in fact it did. I have been doing it for years until I saw the episode of MythBusters that proved it to be a hoax.

    It's easier to leave the bread in its original plastic wrap and suck all the air out, then wrap in foil. You won't get any freezer frost on your bread.
