How to Compliment a Man Who Catches Your Eye

A cute guy has just entered the café. What do you do? A straightforward compliment can lead to a beautiful friendship - or at least brighten his day.

Instructions

1. Be sincere and friendly; compliment him the way you would want to be complimented.

2. Smile at him as he walks by. The special attention and obvious appreciation might be all you need to do.

3. Mention that he has a nice smile - but don't be lecherous. Simply say, "You've got a nice smile."

4. Note an article of his outfit that catches your eye: "Great frames!" "Cool sweater!"

5. Don't gawk.

6. Keep your appreciation of his Adonis-like features or body to yourself - anything you say will probably sound cheesy.

7. Compliment him on the situation at hand. For example, tell him he has some great skills on the dance floor.

Tips & Warnings

• Try not to be too extravagant, like saying you "love" something of his. Simple, straightforward compliments are the best and leave little room for misinterpretation.
• When complimenting someone on their appearance for the first time, avoid mentioning any body parts and avoid using the word "sex."
• Remember, use compliments sparingly lest you come off as insincere.

on 7/20/2009 Okay-here it is! I have been talking with this wonderful guy, who I really like and the other night he told me he wanted to take things slow. The other night we were talking at a function in the town we live in, and he kissed me in front of all his friends.
what is that a sign of. That night he invited me over to his place and things got a little carried away. No sex involved, just kissing. Could he still be interested? I really am very fond of him and right now he is going trough a tuff stage in life with his job, but I told him that whatever happens I will always be there for him! What should I do?
