How to Mix a New Orleans Gin Fizz

Light cream, egg white and Triple Sec are added to the classic Gin Fizz to make the New Orleans version. Serves one.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • ice
  • 1 eggs white
  • liquor
  • 1/2 oz. lemon juices
  • highball glasses
  • cocktail shaker
  • 1 tbsp. light cream
  • cocktail strainer
  • 2 oz. gin
  • 1/2 oz. lime juice
  • club sodas
  • swizzle sticks
  • 1 tsp. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 oz. triple sec
  • Club Sodas
  • Ice
  • Liquor
  • Ice
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Cocktail Strainer
  • Highball Glasses
  • Swizzle Sticks
  • Highball glasses
  • 1 tbsp. light cream
  • 1/2 oz. triple sec
  • 1/2 oz. lemon juices
  • 1 tsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 eggs white
  • 2 oz. gin
  • 1/2 oz. lime juice
  1. Step 1

    Fill a cocktail shaker with cracked ice.

  2. Step 2

    Add gin, light cream, egg white, Triple Sec, lemon and lime juice and powdered sugar.

  3. Step 3

    Shake six times.

  4. Step 4

    Use a cocktail strainer to pour into highball glass over two ice cubes.

  5. Step 5

    Fill glass with chilled club soda.

  6. Step 6

    Stir twice.

  7. Step 7

    Add a swizzle stick.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mixed drinks contain alcohol, so use moderation.
  • Never drink and drive.
