Popular with ladies who lunch, the gin fizz combines the taste of citrus with the punch of gin. For an uptown variation, use champagne instead of club soda. Serves one.

Things You'll Need:

  • cracked ice
  • 1 tsp. sugars
  • lemons or lime wedge
  • liquor
  • 1/2 oz. lemon juices
  • highball glasses
  • cocktail shaker
  • cocktail strainer
  • 2 oz. gin
  • chilled club sodas
  • 2 ice cubes
  • Chilled Club Sodas
  • Cracked Ice
  • Lemons Or Lime Wedge
  • Liquor
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Cocktail Strainer
  • Highball Glasses
  • Highball glasses
  • 1/2 oz. lemon juices
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp. sugars
  • 2 oz. gin
  1. Step 1

    Fill a cocktail shaker with cracked ice.

  2. Step 2

    Add sugar, lemon juice and gin.

  3. Step 3

    Shake five times.

  4. Step 4

    Strain into a highball glass over two ice cubes.

  5. Step 5

    Fill with chilled club soda.

  6. Step 6

    Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mixed drinks contain alcohol, so use moderation.
  • Never drink and drive.
