Crème de menthe provides the grasshopper-green hue of the Grasshopper, which is often served as an after-dinner drink. Serves one.

Things You'll Need:

  • cracked ice
  • liquor
  • cocktail shaker
  • 1-1/2 oz. cream
  • cocktail strainer
  • 1/2 oz. green crème de menthe
  • cocktail glasses
  • 3/4 oz. crème de cacao
  • Cracked Ice
  • Liquor
  • Cocktail Glasses
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Cocktail Strainer
  • 1/2 oz. green crème de menthe
  • 3/4 oz. crème de cacao
  • 1-1/2 oz. cream
  1. Step 1

    Fill cocktail shaker with cracked ice.

  2. Step 2

    Add cream, white crème de cacao and green crème de menthe.

  3. Step 3

    Shake 4 times.

  4. Step 4

    Strain into chilled cocktail glass.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add an ounce or two of coffee for a Brown Grasshopper.
  • Mixed drinks contain alcohol, so use moderation.
  • Never drink and drive.
