on 11/22/2005 1. I placed the heat sink fan on top of the CPU and lined up the smaller tab with the post on the socket.
2. I pushed down the metal tab on the other side, making sure that it connected with the position on the socket.
3. I used a small screwdriver to push the clip straight down until it latched.
4.I looked for the clips on the motherboard where the heat sink fan should connect, and there was one clip which was labeled "CPU FAN."
5. I connected the heat sink fan to the motherboard so that it could get power. I located the power connector for the heat sink fan.
