  1. Step 1

    Turn on thermometer.

  2. Step 2

    Follow manufacturer's directions exactly.

  3. Step 3

    Remove from ear when thermometer beeps.

  4. Step 4

    Read digital display.

Tips & Warnings
  • An ear thermometer may not give an accurate reading if you have an ear infection. If you take a temp in both ears and get two different readings, you should use a different method of taking your temperature.
