Ask your date about the event: Will you need park clothes, beachwear, an urban dinner outfit or rock-climbing gear?

Aim for middle ground for date one. Neutral colors, classic styles and great accessories are always comfortable, especially if you don't know your destination.

Assess your position. Will you convey "career," "artistic," "dynamite" or "easy confidence"?

Having a first date with a man who is a wealthy world traveler who speaks 5 languages. Meeting at a resort hotel near my home for cocktails and dinner. I need to go shopping for an outfit because I don't have a very extensive wardrobe. I want to look sexy yet classy at the same time. Not sure what to wear. Anybody got any suggestions?

Just found the perfect thing to wear under that little black dress...Nicole Miller just came out with a new line of lingerie called the 3rd date collection. Tasteful and sexy bras and panties...hey, ya never know!
