Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Sit on the floor for easier access. Or, sit on chair and hold the foot in your lap.

  2. Step 2

Remove old nail polish, if applicable, with commercial nail polish remover.

  3. Step 3

Have your mate soak his or her feet in a tub of warm water. Add epsom salts or any commerical foot soak.

  4. Step 4

Remove feet from water and pat off excess moisture.

  5. Step 5

Pour a generous dollop of body lotion into your hands and begin to massage the feet, starting with the toes and working your way up.

  6. Step 6

Use a loofah or pumice stone on roughened areas. Make sure skin is very moist before using the stone. You can also put lotion/cream directly on loofah/pumice stone before using.

  7. Step 7

Slather on more lotion and place feet in plastic bags. Wrap warm towels around them or slip on thick socks and let the lotion soak in for at least 15 minutes.

  8. Step 8

Remove plastic bags and massage leftover lotion into feet.

  9. Step 9

Buff toenails. End here if not applying polish.

  10. Step 10

Separate toes if applying polish. Use cotton puffs or a commercial pedicure device.

  11. Step 11

Put on base coat. Allow to dry. Apply two coats of your polish of choice.

Tips & Warnings
  • Allow polish to dry between coats.

on 11/22/2005 Try not to stick your fingers in between your partner's toes. It just ends up feeling really ticklish and not very relaxing at all.
