This is a good drinking game to play at a party. It's a word game, but does not require one to be an English major to enjoy it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Colanders Or Strainer

    How to Play

  1. Step 1

Three to four people sit in a circle.

  2. Step 2

A person is chosen to start the game. This can be a volunteer or one person can decide.

  3. Step 3

The chosen one puts the colander on his/her head like a hat.

  4. Step 4

At this point the player with the colander yells out that he/she is a colander head as many times as needed until everyone is agreed.

  5. Step 5

After the colander head's affirmation, the game begins.

  6. Step 6

The colander head starts by saying a word. It can be any word that is used at the beginning of a sentence.

  7. Step 7

The next player in the circle adds a word to the sentence and this continues around the circle of players.

  8. Step 8

Players can use any word they want as long as it makes sense and is correct grammatically.

  9. Step 9

The round is over when a player can't think of a word, a player laughs or if a player can't use a word in a sentence correctly (either structurally or grammatically).

  10. Step 10

The player who made a mistake then has to drink and the colander is passed to him/her.

  11. Step 11

The game continues with the new colander head beginning a new sentence and continues as before.
