Step1
Speak to someone at the Citizenship and Immigration Office or someone at the Canadian embassy. You can find immigration tips and guidelines. Make sure you follow the most current guidelines because they change.

Find out the cost of moving to another country. Find out the travel and housing costs. Visit the country and speak to Canadian citizens to see what it's really like in Canada. Find out the standard of living, the costs of living and the everyday expenses.

Search for a full time job and make sure you can support yourself on your income. You can apply for immigration status if you are a skilled worker. There are different guidelines for different types of people who want to immigrate to Canada. Skilled workers need a skilled job for one year before they can apply as a skilled worker in Canada.
Step4
Meet all the eligibility requirements. You will get points up to 100 for different criteria and the passing grade is 67. You get points for each level of education you have, so the more higher education you have, the better chance you have of coming into Canada. You also get points if you are fluent in English, French or both.
Step5
Check the National Occupational Classification list in Canada because your vocation must be one of the recognized jobs on that list to qualify you as a skilled worker. You need a year of full-time work or similar part-time experience to obtain eligibility points. Get a letter from your employer if you have been offered full-time work in Canada.
Step6
Provide documentation proving your work and educational claims. Pay any application and registration fees. Fill out all necessary forms. You may want to hire an immigration lawyer to help you with the application process and to help you understand the laws.
Step7
Set up an appointment for a physical because you need to pass a health screening test to come to Canada. You must be healthy and you cannot have a criminal record.
