Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Include a coupon for buy two large pizzas for one set price. Many times it doesn't matter what the deal is for the customer. People who order pizza simply like to have coupons before they order. They want to feel like they're getting a deal. Start with one standard coupon for your that allows the customer to buy two large pizzas for one set price.

  2. Step 2

Lower your prices on the coupons in the summer months. The number of orders placed to pizzerias typically go down in the summer months. Football and basketball seasons are over and people don't eat as much in the summer. Lowering your prices on coupons can increase your order count during these times.

  3. Step 3

Pay an advertising company like Valpak or a local coupon book to put coupons in for you. These mailers arrive in everyone's mailboxes and consumers use these mailers for pizza deals the most. The price to advertise in one of these mailers might seem outrageous at first, but it will pay for itself in the number of customers you get.

  4. Step 4

Notify customers on each coupon that delivery charges are extra, that there is a limited delivery area and on which date the coupon will expire. Also include the name, address and phone number of your pizzeria. This will let the customer know without a doubt what the circumstances are under which he can use the coupon.

  5. Step 5

Be clever with your coupons. Sometimes an unusual coupon or a coupon for a new item will catch the customer's attention and he will call and order it immediately.
