How to Customize an eBay Store

1. Use the "Quick Store Setup" feature that eBay provides to new store owners. Choose the recommended settings that best suit your store.

2. Pick store colors that match your website, advertising and eBay listings. Have a logo designed professionally or use a graphics tool like Photoshop to create a logo. Incorporate the logo onto your store pages.

3. Create clearly labeled categories and subcategories for your store listings. Display the categories on the left side of your store listing.

4. Add custom pages that give information about your products and business. Include information about your purchasing or manufacturing processes and any information that inspires consumer confidence and personalizes the shopping experience.

6. Register for a domain name to assign to your eBay store. Assign the domain name through the store management feature.

7. Insert search engine optimization keywords in your listings to get hits from online searches.
