How to Make Milk Jug Monsters for Halloween
Make milk jug monster heads to use as decorations for Halloween. Whether you use the monsters for a party or just as holiday decor, these guys are sure to give people a fright. Things You'll Need
- 1 gallon milk jug
- Plastic deli bowl
- Tape
- Spray paint primer
- Acrylic paint
- Milk caps
- Foil
- Thumb tacks
- Hot glue gun
- Paintbrush

Flip a milk jug upside down. Set the jug in a plastic deli bowl and secure the jug to the bowl with duct tape.

Spray the jug with primer so that the paint will stick and not chip off. Use spray paint in a well ventilated area. Let the milk jug dry completely.

Paint the jug and deli bowl with acrylic craft paints. Apply two coats of paint if the primer shows through the first coat. Let the paint dry.

Decorate the monster's face by painting eyes, black hair, eyebrows, scars and a freaky mouth.

Wrap two milk caps with aluminum foil. Attach a push pin to each cap with hot glue. Push a cap into either side of the milk jug monster's neck to make the neck bolts. Secure the bolts with hot glue.

Draw a nose on a piece of matching card stock and cut it out. Make a slit in the monster's face with a craft knife and slide the nose in place.

Assemble several monster heads to set on a shelf for your Halloween decor.
