Instructions

1
Draw a bat on a piece of card stock and cut out the image.
-
2
Trace the bat onto five pieces of card stock. Use different colors to add variety to the mobile. Use black, gray, purple and midnight blue. Cut the bats out.
-
-
3
Decorate each bat. Use yellow puffy paint to make spooky Halloween eyes or glue on googly eyes. Outline the bats with phosphorescent paint so they will be visible at night.
-
4
Tape a piece of string to the back of each decorated bat. Lay the bats on a table with the hanger above them. Tie the bats to the hanger at varying lengths. Trim the excess string.
-
5
Use hot glue to attach the fiberfill to the hanger. Cover as much of the hanger as possible so that it will look like a big, fluffy cloud.
-
6
Cut out a moon shape from yellow or gold card stock. Outline the moon with the glow in the dark paint. Let the paint dry, and then attach the moon to the fiberfill with hot glue.
-
7
Hang the bat mobile from the ceiling or a window where your Halloween visitors can see it.
