Women like men who are confident. Most women can tell when a man is afraid of rejection. Approaching a girl without having the fear of rejection will help to improve your chance of getting the girl. You can be shy and still approach a girl with fear of rejection.

  1. Step 1

    Know that she is a person just like you. She has to eat and breathe just like you. Keeping this in mind will make it easier for you to approach her.

  2. Step 2

    Think about the positive things about yourself. This will help you to have confidence in yourself. When you are confident about yourself, you will find that it is a lot easier to talk to a girl.

  3. Step 3

    Forget about pickup lines. Most women hate pickup remarks. It is important to be yourself. Seeming like you are a phoney is a sure way to get rejected by women. Being yourself will make you more comfortable. That, in turn, will make you worry less about her rejecting you.

  4. Step 4

    Find things you have in common with her. You can use these things as the basis of your conversation with her. If you are unsure about her interests, stick to basic conversation. Touchy or serious subjects should be left alone until you know her better.

  5. Step 5

    Use humor to break the ice. You can say something witty when you approach her. This should make both of you smile. Girls like guys who make them smile. If she smiles at your quip, things are off to a good start.
