Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bike
  1. Step 1

You have to stand to keep your weight balanced with the handle bars. Keep your body weight centered over the handle bars so you can achieve absolute balance with doing the catwalk on a bike.

  2. Step 2

Push quickly down on the handle bars and then pull up the whole front part of the bike. Keep your balance and focus on your handle bars. Try to stay near soft ground. Consider also practicing on a slight incline for better balance.

  3. Step 3

Lift the handle bars to the highest peak while you remain standing. Now pedal as quickly as you can and lean back into the catwalk. Watch out for people walking by.

  4. Step 4

Lean back some more and pedal as far as you can while you are performing the catwalk on your bike. Be careful not to go too fast and hurt yourself.

  5. Step 5

Remember to pull up on the handle bars evenly while doing the catwalk or the trick will not work. Balance and being centered is everything with this trick.

  6. Step 6

Practice the catwalk over and over again until you perfect it. You may need to adjust your seat on your bike to find the "sweet spot" that allows you to balance your weight perfectly. Try not to let yourself get discouraged while you learning this bike trick.

Tips & Warnings
  • Work on leg and arm strength, since they are crucial to pull off this move.
