From Quick Guide: Playstation Gaming
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use Nero Burning CD-ROM for the burning. If you have Adaptec's DirectCD, you may need to uninstall it before using Nero. Place the PlayStation game into your CD-R drive. Start the Nero Burning CD-ROM program. Select "new compilation," then "cd copy".

  2. Step 2

Go to the "burn" tab and uncheck "Determine Maximum Speed" and "Simulation." The only remaining option checked should be "write." Burn speed should be set to 1x. Choose the reader drive or source, uncheck "on the fly" and set the read speed to "1x always".

  3. Step 3

Click the "image" tab, then browse to find the image Nero will create during the process. If you only plan to make one copy, click "delete image after CD copy." This will delete the image from your hard drive upon completion. Set the number of read re-tries to 20.

  4. Step 4

Check the "ignore illegal TOC type" box. Uncheck the "read media catalog" box. Data mode 1 and Data mode 2 need to be set to "Check Force raw reading and on errors and write uncorrected." For audio tracks, check "ignore read errors" then click "copy CD." When it's done, it will automatically eject.

  5. Step 5

Remove game and insert blank CD-R. The program will automatically detect the blank CD-R and will complete the burning process. Once it is complete, the disc will automatically eject and you are ready to go.

Tips & Warnings
  • It may sit at 100% for awhile before finalizing the burning process. This is normal and just requires a little patience.
