Everywhere you look these days, there are advertisements for the latest and greatest in skincare. Some of these skincare products cost hundreds of dollars for small bottles of cleansers and creams. It is important to have a good skincare regimen, but it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. Read on to learn how to have beautiful, young-looking skin inexpensively.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Drink at least 64 ounces of water a day. Water stimulates the blood circulation in your body and controls and regulates your skin's natural balance.
Step2
Be aware of your facial expressions. Furrowing your brow or squinting your eyes can cause lines and wrinkles. Keep your face relaxed.
Step3
Invest in a hat to wear when you are in the sun. Nothing ages your skin quicker than exposure to the sun. If you must be in the sun without a hat, make sure you wear a moisturizer with SPF in it to protect your face.
Step4
Cleanse your face both morning and night. No matter what products you use, be consistent. Even when you get home late and are tired, don't skip removing your makeup and washing your face.
Step5
Try drugstore cleaners and moisturizers. Many of them are made with the same ingredients as the much more expensive designer brands. Buy something made for your specific skin type.
Step6
Use an anti-aging cream at night. The extra moisturizers in these types of creams help eliminate fine lines and wrinkles.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't over-clean your face. Washing your face too often can strip it of essential moisture. Also, make sure to be gentle when cleaning your skin. Don't use rough sponges or brushes on your face.
