How to Fold a Dollar Bill to Make a Finger Ring
Instead of carrying your money around, try wearing it. If you have an extra dollar lying around, you can use it to make an interesting accessory. You can make your own dollar bill ring in just a short time and with a little folding.

1
Begin with the bill facing back side upwards. If you're using a one dollar bill, the portrait of George Washington should be facing downwards.
-
2
Fold the two small white borders that are along the top and bottom of the dollar bill away from you. Fold the dollar bill in half lengthwise. Fold the bill lengthwise again. The 1 at the edges of the bill should be visible at each end of the bill.

3
Bend the white border on the right side of the bill and crease it away from you. Turn the bill over and fold the same edge over so that the 1 in the corner is framed by the fold in the bill. Pick the folded bill up and run it through your fingers so that it curves. This will help with the curved shape it will take when it is finally folded as a ring.
-
4
Take one side of the bill and fold it upwards in the middle so that the two halves of the bill are at a 90 degree angle.
-
5
Flip the bill over so that the half of the bill that was pointing upwards is now pointing downwards. Take the horizontal half of the bill and curve it so that the two points that are folded form a circle.
-
6
Take the vertical piece of the bill and wrap it upwards in front of the horizontal half of the bill and then behind the horizontal piece. Then wrap the bill around itself so that it is secure. Take the square that you folded and open the white border section slightly.
-
7
Tuck the folded white border section behind the piece that you wrap around the curved half of the bill. This will hold the bill together in its new ring form.
