Set your alarm to wake up at the normal time you would for school. This is the next step to knock your internal clock into shape. Most likely you will not have had a full night's sleep by waking up at this time, however this is the kind of tough love your brain needs. This will make you tired by the time night rolls around.

Keep going to bed earlier and earlier each night. Make the adjustment in half hour increments every night. This will help the body slowly get used to your new bedtime. If you tried to simply do it the night before school, it would be a wicked jolt to the body that would actually hurt more than it helps.

Do the math to ensure that you get a full eight hours of sleep each night. It's important to have a sleep schedule that provides the proper amount of sleep that your body needs.

Stay diligent with your schedule. You may want to stay up or sleep in one day. But if you do, your work will be wiped clean. It's important to maintain the school sleep schedule.
