- 1 yard of fabric
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
- Sewing machine

Purchase 1 yard of fabric for each chemotherapy turban you want to make. If you are sewing this for someone you know, choose a fabric that shows his or her personality. If you are making your turbans for a charity project, choose fun patterns with bright colors. Choose 100 percent cotton fabrics for frequent washing.

Cut the fabric into a 37-inch square.

Sew a hem all the way around the square.

Wrap the turban around you or your friend's head by folding the turban into a triangle. Center the bottom end of the triangle at the nape of the neck. Bring the other two ends around the front of the head and tie in place. Add a brooch to make it more pretty.

Tips & Warnings
Make this turban a little thicker by cutting two 37-inch squares. Put the right sides together and sew all the way around, leaving a space large enough to turn it right-side out. Stitch the opening closed.
For cooler weather, make the turbans out of fleece for a nice, warm head covering.
