Things You'll Need:
- Eye color palettes
- Eye shadow brushes
-
Step 1
Determine which color is dominant in your eyes. Hazel eyes can vary in color dominance, and what you wear can affect what color stands out. For most people, green is the dominant color.
-
Step 2
Buy eye shadows in a color palette. These eye shadows come in groups of three or four, and all of the colors complement each other. Good color palettes for hazel eyes include purples, browns, deep greens, golds and peaches.
-
Step 3
Use the lightest shade beneath your brow bone to accent the eyes. Brush the next darkest color across your eyelid and highlight it with the darkest color in the crease of the eye.
-
Step 4
Stick with a shiny silver eye shadow if you're not sure what color palette you want. Silver helps all the colors in hazel eyes stand out and gives your eyes an extra sparkle.
-
Step 5
Line your eyes with an eyeliner that enhances your shadow. Try not to stick with basic black eyeliner. If using purple shadow, use a plum liner. If using brown shadow, use a gold liner.
