How to Make Aloe Aftershave

Aloe aftershave will sooth your skin after shaving, leaving it soft and comfortable, and because it contains no alcohol, it's perfect for sensitive skin, too. It's great for men to splash on a just-shaved face, but women will enjoy aloe aftershave too, because it will leave their legs silky smooth after a shave. Aloe aftershave is easy and inexpensive to make, and is completely natural and chemical-free.

Things You'll Need:

• 3/4 cup aloe vera gel
• 2 tbsp. distilled or filtered water
• 2 tbsp. witch hazel
• Airtight plastic container with tightly fitting cap
• 1 tbsp. cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
• 14 drops essential oils of your choice

1. Place the aloe vera gel, distilled water and witch hazel in the airtight container.

2. Add the olive oil and the essential oil.

3. Place the cap securely on the bottle and shake it until the ingredients are thoroughly blended.

4. Use the aloe aftershave after every shave. Shake the bottle before each use.

• Experiment with essential oils and discover the ones you like best. For men, try a blend of clove, cinnamon,peppermint or sage, or a combination of citrus oils like grapefruit, lemon or lime.
