1
Gather all the materials needed to make a Kirigami hummingbird. Now print the pattern out on the paper used for the Kirigami hummingbird (see Resources below).
-
2
Use a ruler and a small sharp knife to score the Kirigami paper on the designated lines. Now fold the paper along the score going down the center of the paper and cut out the shape so that it is exact on both sides.

3
Unfold the Kirigami paper and use the ruler to score it in the designated palaces again. Fold the paper in half again and carefully bend on the scored marks. Flip the paper over and carefully bend on the scored marks again, this time in the opposite direction.
-
4
Open the folded paper again and carefully fold the dimensions of the Kirigami hummingbird. Now take a new piece of paper in a different color and print out the hummingbird pattern.
-
5
Utilize the ruler and knife again to score in the proper places. Fold the paper in half as with the first one and cut out the shape, making a little slit for the hummingbird to fit over the first piece.
-
6
Score the hummingbird again and gently bend along the scored marks in both directions. Now carefully fold the dimensions of the hummingbird.
-
7
Slide the Kirigami hummingbird into place using the slit and the pointed piece of the first piece of Kirigami made.
