How to Highlight Blonde Hair Naturally

      Bring out blonde highlights with a chamomile tea rinse. Steep a cup of dried chamomile blossoms in 2 qt. of boiling water for about 20 minutes. Strain the tea, and allow it to cool slightly. Shampoo the hair as usual, and rinse it with the warm chamomile tea.

      Accentuate blonde highlights with fresh rhubarb. Chop a stalk of rhubarb and add it to 4 cups of water. Simmer the rhubarb and water on medium-low heat for about 15 minutes and then strain it. Allow the rhubarb water to cool, and use it as an after-shampoo rinse.

      Rinse blonde hair with an herbal tea made from any bright yellow flowers to bring out gold and red highlights. Marigold, chamomile, calendula and saffron are all good choices. Just simmer the blossoms in water for about 30 minutes and strain. Rinse your hair with the strained water over a basin and pour the water back over your hair several times.

      Make a quick highlight treatment for blonde hair with lemon and water. Simply mix 1 Tbsp. of fresh lemon juice with a gallon of warm water and pour it through your hair after shampooing. Finish with a conditioner, because lemon can dry out your hair.
