Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Check the calendar. Determine when the last time was that you had sex. If it was less than 28 days ago, and you didn't use protection, there is a possibility that you are pregnant.
Step2
Wait for your period. If your period happens, even if it's late, you likely are not pregnant. If your period never happens any longer, you probably are pregnant.
Step3
Buy a home pregnancy test at your local drug store. You may purchase these tests over the counter. Most home pregnancy tests require you to urinate on a strip and wait a few minutes. If a plus symbol or a line shows up on the test results area of the test strip, you are pregnant.
Step4
Visit your doctor and have him perform a blood test. The blood test is officially called the human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG test. Someone at your doctor's office will draw some blood from your vein and send that sample off to a lab. It may take several days for the results to come back.
Step5
Watch your mood. If you feel nauseated and are more tired than normal, these are signs of a pregnancy.
