-
2
Stitch the strips together to create one large rectangle, four blocks by three blocks.
-
-
3
Turn the scarf quilt top face up, and place the backing fabric over it so the right sides face each other on the inside.
-
4
Sew the two long edges and one short edge of the backing to the quilt top. On the third edge, sew a few inches, and on each corner leaving the majority of the final edge open.
-
5
Flip the quilt right side out and insert the batting, spreading it evenly throughout the quilt.
-
6
Hand-stitch the bottom of the scarf quilt closed.
-
7
Secure the batting to the quilt by hand-stitching a tie from front to back and back to front in the center where each square of scarves meet. If you prefer, hand-stitch along the edge of each scarf square to create a puffy square look, common in many quilts.
