How to Use MySpace IM

MySpace Instant Messenger (IM) is a software program you download onto your computer that allows you to communicate more effectively and efficiently using the MySpace website. MySpace IM is easy to use for those who use the MySpace service regularly, as most people view it as an enhancement of the service. Read on to learn how to use MySpace IM.

Instructions

1. Download the MySpace IM onto your computer. A link to the page where you can download this software is listed in the Resources section. After this software is downloaded, click "Run" to install the software onto your computer. Run the software.

2. Login on the MySpace IM program by typing in your normal MySpace username and password. You will automatically be connected to the chat mechanism of MySpace.

3. Send your friends on MySpace photos and alerts from your MySpace IM. You can instant message with other MySpace users in real time as long as they, too, are logged into the MySpace IM program.

4. Check your MySpace email and view other user profiles directly from your MySpace IM software. Add your friends to your MySpace IM by first clicking on "People" at the top of your IM software and then by choosing "Add Friend Wizard." You can then add your friends to your instant messenger.

5. Change the appearance of your MySpace IM by first selecting "File" at the top of the MySpace IM window then selecting "Change Skin." Here, you can choose from many different options of how your MySpace IM window looks and operates.
