Since the early 1900s, people have researched and studied how to use electric current to help the human body. Galvanic therapy is the result of this study. If this appeals to you, read on to learn how to attach a galvanic face conductor.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Galvanic therapy unit with face conductor
  • Alcohol or alcohol wipes
  • Cotton balls
  1. Step 1

Open the carrying case or bag where the galvanic therapy unit is stored. Locate the various conductors. All galvanic therapy units come with at least three conductors used for various parts of the body.

  2. Step 2

Locate the galvanic face conductor. This conductor is has a flat, thin edge. Some units have a slight angle or a flat circle on the top of the face conductor. If you can't locate the face conductor, identify the others to narrow the choices down. The conductor that has prongs like a comb is for the head or scalp. If the conductor has bumps on it, it is used for the body.

  3. Step 3

Take the face conductor from the case clean it with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball or an alcohol wipe. Wipe off any debris or dust before attaching the face conductor. You may have cleaned the conductor storing it but debris and dust settle on objects when stored.

  4. Step 4

Press the hollow end of the face conductor over the probe of the unit until the conductor snaps onto the unit.
